The modern foundations of probability theory are Kolmogorov's axioms, in which concepts from measure theory play a central role. There is, however, an alternative view, promoted by Jaynes and others, according to which probability theory is an extension of Boolean logic. On the occasion of the World Logic Day, we discuss different perspectives on probability theory in a workshop at the interface between philosophy and computer science.

After the workshop, we invite you to network over coffee and snacks. To view the detailed schedule, please click on "Program".

Participation is free of charge. However, due to a limited number of seats, we kindly request attendees to register in advance.
