FALLING WALLS LAB is coming to Jena!
Under the motto “Which are the next walls to fall?”, our regional scientific community is taking part in the annual FALLING WALLS season.
We are looking for outstanding ideas, innovative solutions and groundbreaking concepts to address current societal challenges.
What is the FALLING WALLS LAB?
FALLING WALLS LAB is a global pitch competition for students, early-career researchers, and innovators from all disciplines.
In just three minutes on stage, participants present their breakthrough ideas and show how their work can make an impact.
It’s a fast-paced, inspiring format that connects you with peers, experts, and a global audience.
The winner of Falling Walls Lab Jena qualifies for the Global Finale
on 6 November in Berlin and attends the Falling Walls Science Summit 2026, where they join an international network of researchers, innovators, and decisionmakers.
Finalists also take part in an extended programme in Berlin, including
professional skills workshops, networking opportunities, and visits to leading research institutions.
